I battle iOS' autocorrect everyday. It suggests irrelevant words over others that should be obvious based on the context (like the name of the person I'm responding to, or domain-specific vocabulary that is already contained in the body of the email I'm responding to). I look forward to local LLMs making it smarter

More generally I think it’s a low-hanging fruit for iOS to become smarter and more informed about its owner’s habits, contacts, writing style, jargon, travels, music preferences, etc and make better recommendations. Apple is in a unique position to do all this computing at the edge without compromising privacy
