something very dystopian about crypto social ppl from rich counties looking down on airdrop farmers and "spam" these ppl live an existence where the cost of your monthly ETH gas could be life changing they're scrapping and clawing to make a better life but God forbid that makes your doomscrolling less efficient

This cast has been living rent-free in my head for the past three days, and I’ve been examining my interactions here in light of it. On the upside (“dystopian” being a negative term), it’s also praiseworthy of a platform like this one that it actually connects, and occasionally confronts, people of all strata

As in, it’s the opposite of an old boys’ country club, so while there will be friction and misunderstandings at the boundary layer, it’s still a net positive that it brings everyone together in ways permissioned protocols don’t
