Being on a network like this one (real-time, participatory in nature) becomes far more enjoyable once you get past the “I always have to reply right away” phase

Funny enough, sometimes people will @ me or ask me a question. As I plan on responding later, I'm hesitant to even "like" their cast, because it's the FC equivalent of a "read receipt" on IM or email; they know I've seen their cast and now every minute that I don't respond feels like I'm being rude
