Last year, astronomers found a star orbiting an invisible object 11 times the mass of the Sun. It's too big to be a neutron star and too small to be a normal black hole. This could be evidence of a "boson star" - a hypothetical object made of dark matter particles.

Since we’re dealing in hypotheticals, it could also be a Dyson sphere. It’d be interesting to observe this star in the infrared spectrum (which I’m sure has been done already) since dark matter does not give off IR
