And US I think? There was a funny theme at the war museum in New Orleans that I went to, paraphrased timeline (the curator gave off annoyed vibes that I enjoyed):
- The war started but the US didn't get involved.
- It got worse, but US didn't get involved.
- Wow it's getting crazy, but US didn't get involved.
- Ok completely out of hand, but the US didn't get involved.
- The US got involved and it was glorious.
