most dumb decisions you see in the wild are probably the function of a hidden resource constraint you don’t really understand some bad decisions are actually just pretty dumb tho

Which leads straight into Chesterton's Fence situations where somebody new comes along and tries to undo / second guess a prior decision just because it looks dumb
