See https://doi.org/m3jd Pro: the body does not metabolize allulose at all, meaning ~100% of it gets excreted via the kidneys (it's essentially a pass-through) Con: nasty bacteria can feed on it, so its availability into the GI tract could indirectly increase exposure to serious pathologies
