I go offline for 5 minutes to move my modem/router to a different cable connection, and then geth needs >1 hour to resync because it somehow lost a bunch of blocks it had already processed is that normal/expected?

I don’t recall how it was with Geth (it’s been years) but I don’t have that issue with Besu. I occasionally take it down for updates and it resumes syncing much quicker.
