Where I live, it's -40°C in winter and +40°C in summer. I handle the cold just fine, but heat kills me. Tourism has responded to this with a new trend: "coolcation" - a vacation not to the sun, but to the chill. What’s in vogue now: Ireland and its rain - now romantic; Finland and its bogs - eco-friendly; Canada and its mosquitoes - rebranded as exotic wilderness. Coolcation has even influenced fashion. Brands like Patagonia, Fjällräven, and Arc'teryx have become icons not just of the outdoor lifestyle, but of mindful northern rest. Research shows that cool climates don’t just ease anxiety and improve sleep - they also help you focus and unwind, turning a trip not just comfortable, but restorative.

For me, heat is also much worse than cold.😊
