The pandemic really shaped how folks view CRISPR and mRNA: CRISPR is more about gene editing in fetuses, while mRNA is geared towards treating diseases in adults. In my opinion, mRNA vaccines are best reserved for those who are terminally ill or part of a high-risk group.
