Yes. It’s the first truly intelligent thing I’ve read on the threats inherent in AI. I don’t find the arguments of tech bros and psychopathic billionaires to be convincing. Harari’s thoughts OTOH are very compelling.

💯agree. I’ve been interested in the history of colonialism for a while now and this article makes the point that modern day tech empires will follow the same patterns of behaviour and outcomes. And you can see already how this is playing out. *sigh*
