ok this got me thinking…there’s a huge potential market for offchain software and tools (like a wallet that does stuff like this) that’s provably secure and always online 

i am not smart enough to solve this problem myself but i wonder if it’s possible

I mean yeah... last night when i couldn't sleep i was thinking about our cumulative effort here. Which (most of it at least) amounts to helping build upon a Ponzi (Crypto tokens), to entertain gambling behaviour.

i totally see your point. the problem is, if money's involved, there's basically no way to prevent speculative or extractive behavior. i have made peace with this; every new technology has pros and cons. i'm just doing my best to use it for good, the way i see it...even if that means helping my buddies make "stupid" memecoins

coming from the startup world, it doesn't seem that different from early-stage startup investing, and in fact is a lot more egalitarian (for better or worse)
