if $TRUMP rugpulls, it wouldn’t just be a scandal ,it’d send shockwaves through the crypto space, damaging trust on a global scale and giving critics more ammunition to dismiss the entire industry. the implications for regulation, adoption, and public perception would be massive.

Maybe that's the agenda? This being just a scheme to show the public that they need to enforce harsher rules and control of "competent" entities in this space? i.e. the same ones that have been manipulating the stock market and bringing companies down as they pleased.
