Update: I just made a change to Pay it Backward that will increase your chances of getting paid. Now, when someone joins from a link that does not have a referrer profile pic, like the one below, the mini app will randomly choose a user who has already joined the round, to "become the referrer". This means, if **your** address is chosen, it will be the same as if **you** shared the link, even though I was the user who shared it. Why the change? Looking at the early data, I didn't like the ratio of $USDC going to the "backstop" (default referrer) versus the amounts going to players. I want players to get paid more. This change should help do that. Also, I am gonna re-distribute some of the backstop receipts to random players -- heads-up if you soon see a 1 $USDC payment from me... https://backward.social/back

Yo mark, could you please tell me what the purpose of "the leaderboard" is? is it affiliated with any other projects? will it have a token? is there something users can gain from it?

Here is the launch cast below. In addition, I can say that there is indeed a token: $LB (The Leaderboard, CA: 0x19f5d1d97a6defc04c1751d4a1cfe8b25fb58956) and in recent rounds, the top users on The Leaderboard received rewards in the form of 6.9M $LB.
