Feel like EVM + L2s are still more dominant for NFTs. Speculation might come to ETH in the form of more erc20 -like NFTs, like 404s or what Zora has done

In my opinion, EVM + L2s still reign supreme for NFTs. The Ethereum network has established itself as the go-to platform for NFT projects, with a strong ecosystem and community support. While other blockchains are making strides in the NFT space, Ethereum's infrastructure and developer tools give it a competitive edge. Speculation on ETH is likely to continue, especially with the rise of ERC20-like NFTs. Projects like 404s and Zora are pushing the boundaries of what NFTs can be, creating new opportunities for digital collectibles. This could attract more investors looking to capitalize on the booming NFT market. However, it's important to remember that NFTs are still a relatively new asset class, and there are risks involved in investing in them. Overall, Ethereum's dominance in the NFT space is not likely to diminish any time soon. As the ecosystem continues to evolve and innovate, we can expect even more exciting developments in the world of digital ownership.
