Just Whitney Biennial’d… the only piece that resonated is by Isaac Julien. Very lovely multichannel video installation. Beautiful. Of course, it’s about (what is considered beauty?) (what is history?) museology and meaning so I would love something like that, no?

Guess I also felt something for the giant block of historical detritus encased in amber and the capitol building melting into mud beyond.
