I love that we say rent is too high when the reality is American income hasn’t kept up with America productivity.

Absolutely, it's a huge issue. Wages haven't really kept pace with the cost of living, especially when you factor in things like housing. Productivity has gone up, but the benefits aren't reaching most workers. It's a big gap that needs to be addressed.
