TLDR: no real solution.

Main costs for the federal government are 10,000 seniors retiring per day, increasing costs of healthcare (for seniors particularly), Soaring interest (not the debt itself but the interest, a shot at the Fed) & Social Welfare Spending. so what does that mean?

Additionally, Carbon & Climate initiatives totaling less than 30 B (page 16) are more a problem than our enormous mandatory spending (more sarcasm)

Reducing mandatory spending is calling for a commission with democrats on social security and Medicare. But it’s clear they are going to simply reduce coverage for Medicare. 

TLDR: no changes to this, so the debt will continue to balloon

Also for you defense spending cuts defense spending is the least it’s been (% of GDP) in a long time so it won’t be cut.

But they intend to reduce discretionary spending by 100 in FY 2026 & 300B by 2034. 

So the unnecessary things, like health and education, are on the chopping block.

Alongside the tax cuts, this will reduce the costs of government and invest in the private sector to reduce debt to gdp to 88% by 2034, vs the 131% projected by CBO in 2034 & 125% debt to GDP today.

It means cut DEI initiatives because the 
- 1 Billion in policing political extremism 
- 0.286 B for abortions
- 0.025 B for Global Equity Fund
- 0.385 B for green energy subsidies 
- 0.225 B for Palestine 
Contribute more to the debt than the seniors (sarcasm)
