Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

I had a conversation with @lawsn recently where he showed me a video of a guy having who was saying, “we are seeing tyranny from our government. We have guns for tyranny. Why are none of the guns fighting the tyranny?” 🧵🧵

The guy in the video went on a tirade about school shootings and other tragedies which are permitted so that we might have guns. 

My response is and always has been simple.

The Second Amendment is for everyone. If you don’t take advantage of it, it’s your fault. I don’t agree with the Trump MAGA brigade, but they agree with his policies & of the upstanding citizens they own more guns.

So what you see as tyranny, they don’t. And what could you do against that tyranny?

You’re literally powerless to protect yourself, family and your property. Liberals and this distaste for guns in one of the most armed countries in the world has always been appalling. 

If shit hits the fan & it always can, you’re cooked.

If you ain’t know, I am a Black American from Memphis TN. I’ve seen violence. 

The upstanding citizens don’t own enough guns on the left or liberal end. The degreed Black American class treat guns as if they are taboo. I see the same amongst some Anglo American urbanites.
