National democrats got their asses handed to them however local dems did decent if they descented from national politics. Republicans were easy to beat and the donors of the Democratic Party didn’t want to lean in on the issues that won voters.

That’s the problem, right? Is that there was 1. No primary election, voters were gifted Kamala by Joe Biden. Of course she had to be nominated by delegates at the convention but Biden told the Kamala and of course they are going to fall in line. 2. There’s been no self reflection on the part of the national democrats. It’s obviously the policy of the Biden administration was terrible and voters saw that. Kamala refused to separate from those policies. For local leaders is much easier to and they won because of it.
