For many years, humanity has been fighting the titans - huge creatures that do not have much intelligence, but eat people and enjoy it. After a long struggle, the remnants of humanity built a high wall that surrounded the country of people, through which the titans could not pass. A hundred years have passed since then, people live peacefully under the protection of the wall. But one day, teenagers Eren and Mikasa witness a terrible event - a section of the wall is destroyed by a super titan that appeared out of thin air. The titans attack the city, and the children watch in horror as one of the monsters eats Eren's mother alive. The boy swears that he will kill all the titans and avenge humanity.
