Absolutely love BB, and the equally excellent El Camino

But Saul was just absolute peak.

Granted, BB had to lay all the groundwork and build the world out for Saul - it had the hard part of the job.

Yeah, I'd agree there, esp in the later seasons of BB - started moving very fast, lots of action scenes, exponentially raising the stakes etc.

Saul stayed way more consistent in pacing, sort of keeping it around the s2-s3 BB levels. Much more "tense atmosphere" than big bang moments, granted those still turned up
