Frequently, users tend to reply more easily to low effort GM/GN casts so as to get lazy mutual engagement whereas genuine casts lacks of replies due to the fact that users are struggling to find proper reply.

This thing became more intense with the last engagement earning methods.

It’s better to just like and recast a good cast so as to make it visible than replying. Help people that can actually genuine reply these type of casts and don’t make lazy replies.

That's right, what I noticed were only short replies, and no ongoing interaction, and it seemed as if it just stopped at gm/gn.

I do them also but I try to make them more amazing with something funny or a photo

Yeah, if I may be honest, we can ask "how are you" or what so that we can get closer to each other, so at least it reduces the gap between the interactants.
But it all depends on each person whether they really want to interact or just say hello, gm or gn 🤭
