One of the most exciting aspects of being a street artist is the ability to work outside the boundaries of traditional art spaces. Whether painting an abandoned warehouse, a subway train, or the side of a skyscraper, street artists have the freedom to experiment with scale, location, and materials in ways that aren't possible within the confines of a studio. Large murals can cover entire building facades, turning a dull, gray wall into a monumental piece of art. Installations and interactive art often invite people to become part of the piece, turning public spaces into living, breathing art experiences.
