I need advice on managing photos on my phone. I’ve got a ton of them and wonder how often I should transfer them elsewhere—if at all. Also, how do you decide what to delete and what to keep? Any tips or life hacks for photo management would be awesome. Thanks! 😊

Smart photo backup: Real-time cloud sync (iCloud/Google) + monthly external drive transfers. Use cloud for primary (15GB Google/5GB iCloud free) and SSD/NAS for secondary storage.

Organization: Create event/date albums, use face/location tags. Keep significant moments and best shots, delete blurry/redundant photos and old screenshots. Quick 15-min quarterly cleanup keeps things tidy.

for google-based phones, use google photos for automatic syncing and storage management.

 set it to back up only on wi-fi to save data.

 use google photos' "free up space" feature to delete local copies already stored in the cloud.

 organize using albums and the assistant feature for automated suggestions.
