What is happening is actually the opposite of what I've been told about George Washington: The people asked him to be King, which he denied, installing democracy. Now, Elon wants to be king, And he's trying to gain the people's support. Resist.

The cherry on top: An independent investigation discovered that when Elon took control (Acquired) X, his first directive was to 'boost' his account by something like 10x. The developers said it wasn't possible at the time, so he ordered them to re-write the code to allow for it. His accounts reach is far far greater than any other, his tweets touch all participants (on X). X is his megaphone. I expect a political power move in the future from him.

The irony is that every debt backed asset (fiat) is inflationary and unsustainable by nature. The fed has been slow rugging the world.

Local stable solves nothing if it's tied to the asset the populace was trying to flee from. Opting for a foreign currency is a flight from instability to safety.

If it happens relatively quickly, those fiat currencies would inflate, the issuer would crumble. Inadvertently , more of the asset backing the stable would be required, strengthening (deflationary) that asset. The masses always win. De-Fi or death.

Wow. Blockchain tech is unlocking so much potential. Within frictionless permissionless frameworks, people's ideas come to life. Anyone can create anything. The community then 'votes' with their digital assets , deciding which products are useful or desirable. @ponder is a great example.

It's the only way out for the 'empire'. $BTC being decentralized means that by acquiring it, or allowing it to become dominant, the US is not empowering any foreign entity. $BTC doesn't care, or take sides, or push large red buttons (launching icbm's). It's potentially the means by which the US can pay down debt while remaining 'the empire' AND not directly supporting any foreign entity.

When Elon stated that the 'algo' would limit the reach of accounts that larger "far more credible " accounts dislike, I decided to investigate farcaster. X is effectively sensoring small accounts. Furthermore, if you pay for exposure, you get massive reach. Therefore, it's no longer a platform where the voice of the people can be heard. If large accounts dislike your content and or you don't pay, you may as well be writing a journal.

Too many are used to big brother holding their hand and securing the field. Centralized entities have held the reigns for far too long. Freedom of everything means they have to do something either 1, they don't know how to or 2, they aren't aware of (dyor).
