Oh really? Good to know. I'm not too surprised lol, I'm starting to learn that so many dishes that we think are from a certain place didn't actually originate there... Have you tried churros from Spain-Portugal? I wonder how they differ.

Churros are pretty similar everywhere - the mass changes a bit but that doesn’t really depends on the country, is more on the recipe afaik

Yeah recipe wise makes sense because that's what can change the taste and/or appearance but in general still looks like a churros. At least that's what I've observed in foods that are the same but slightly different depending on the country.

This franchise originated in Venezuela (my home country). I thought curros were Venezuelan because of it
