Can you have a mid-life crisis at 33? π I feel like I've been going crazy over here in my corner trying to figure out where I want to be in life because I can confirm that what I'm currently doing is NOT it. After discovering crypto, DEGEN and taking part in the web3 space this past year, I'm now realizing that TECH is where I really want to be. I finally signed up to Coursera so I can start skilling in the different areas of tech until I find the one for me. Wish me luck! πͺπΎ First up, introduction to Cloud Computing! π§πΎβπ»

Love to hear this friend! There's nothing wrong (at any age) with deciding to want to do/try something different that can bring newfound joy and purpose into your life. I'm stuck in that boat right now where I'm basically relegated to a desk job (if I can ever work again) but I don't know if I can possibly put in 8 hours of productive work a day to make a civilian employer happy enough. Good luck on the start of this journey!! π π«

Thatβs awesome! As someone who made a big career change into tech, Iβll say: 1) Iβm very pleased with my decision and the opportunities it has brought and continues to bring 2) itβs easy to get overwhelmed and discouraged, especially at the start. Donβt give in to imposter syndrome. Just keep learning and pushing and building! Perseverance is key πͺ 200 $degen

Following this thread.. I had so many life crisis already..I'll be 50 soon, and I am expecting a few more to come Lol After a decade of staying at home taking care of my son I found myself divorced and with a lot of freedom to do whatever I want...I just need to convince my housekeeping brain that I can achieve whatever I intend. Let see what tthis new chapter brings to me..

good luck! it definitely is stressful realizing that you're not in the right career, but finding the thing you **do** want to do is such a great feeling I went through something very similar almost a decade ago in my mid-20s. I had just finished pre-med, was starting medical school and on course to be a pathologist. all of my experience was working in medical labs and doing research, while doing programming projects as a hobby then during a night of studying I came across the Ethereum whitepaper and it just clicked for me. I saw all of the potential and knew blockchain was a once-in-a-generation innovation that I had to be part of. the next month I left my career and started living off savings while I taught myself everything I needed to know finally after 8 years I'm at a place where I've not only made up for time lost, but am happier than ever with my career path it's not going to be easy, but it will be fulfilling you've got this!
