Success is measured in different ways. My greatest /success this year has been overcoming grief while at the same time being able to function in my day to day life. These past few years have been very trying, but this year has been the lowest. I lost one of my sisters in June and then lost a brother in August. I’ve now lost 4 of 5 siblings. It can be tough to get your head on straight but I relied heavily on my faith, family and friends and while you’ll always miss loved ones, it does get better with time. Believe it or not, Farcaster has also been a great source of comfort. At first I just thought it was a good distraction but it ended up being a good place to be. Count your successes daily and remember, success comes in all different forms. I’m not posting this for sympathy. Just remember to cherish those around you daily. Surround yourself with good people and you’ll have more success than failure. I’m thankful to have met you all.

The amount of strength & resilience you have to possess in order to overcome that level of grief while still functioning in life is out of this world... I'm so sorry for your losses friend 😔 may they rest peacefully... 🙏🏾🕊️ The purple app has been a great place for me & I'm sure many others too because of the community made up of people like you! I'm so happy that we crossed paths! 🫂💜 I just spent some time with my mom today which I haven't really done in a while... I have to make this a weekly thing because I was reminded that time isn't waiting for me. Thank you for sharing with us & for the reminder to cherish the people we love!
