✈️👩🏻‍✈️Nicole Smith-Ludvik, Emirates Airlines stewardess and professional skydiver, performed an impressive feat by climbing the antenna of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, to film a commercial. Standing on a small 1-square-metre platform with a stunning view, Nicole posed confidently as an Airbus A380 plane made 11 turns around her to get the perfect shot. The scene, although difficult to believe due to its level of risk, was completely real and showed her bravery and professionalism at one of the most challenging heights on the planet. THE ARUGBÁ Ọ̀ṢUN Meet Abeni Arugba an adolescent girl chosen from the extended family of the Àtáọja, who must be a v!rgin; this symbolizes purity. She bears the significant calabash to the Ọ̀ṣun Sacred Grove on the grand finale of the Ọ̀ṣun-Òṣogbo Festival. Abeni has been the Arugba for Osun Osogbo Festival for the past 12years and she's still a v!rgin now in her early twenties. This year is the last time she will be the Arugba Osun as she is getting married after this year festival. According to the tradition, if an Arugba wants to get married, she must get the permission 1year before the next festival. The present ARUGBA has secured the permission last year and they have done the final rights for her since June of this year" May the Almighty bless her new home 🙏 ©️ Abiolatrendsblog #OsunOsogboFestival2024 #Arugba #yoruba #culture

Millie and Christine McCoy were conjoined twins. They were born into slavery along with their mother and sold to a showman. The McCoy sisters spoke five different languages. They sang and danced. They had 3 stage names, “The Carolina Sisters”, ”The Eight Wonder of the World” and “The Two Headed Nightingale.” The twins traveled around the world performing. They overcame years of slavery, forced medical observations and forced to perform at fairs.

THEY GAVE Her Barren LAND FOR BEING COLORED In 1913, a 10-year-old girl named Sarah Rector was awarded a 160-acre parcel in Oklahoma as part of a land allotment program. Since the best farmland was intended for white people, she was allocated a plot of land that was considered unproductive. However, oil was later discovered on that land, leading her to become one of the country's first African-American millionaires.
