Every year we get more keywords, interactions and just more complexity. The layered approach will be best since you could spend several sessions just on the color blue and the stack, optimally tapping and waiting to cast. Magic is just complicated, a slow drip is the best way to teach someone

Today I'm buying a bunch of proxies I've been putting off getting, new sheoldred, agathas soul cauldron, the one ring, roaming throne, anything decent that's rose to over $15. Over the past 3 years I've spent well over $1500 on mtg, and they (unsurprisingly) continue to squeeze us for profits, I'm all about proxies now

This might be too smooth brained for what this channel is about but what's the real difference between the 30 series and 40 series of GPUs? I'm planning on grabbing the msi rtx 3080 but he keeps asking that I consider the 4080, anyone know if it's actually that much better?

Honestly it's kind of degenerate but it's so fun. Like a quadruple demon prince of each god with 300pts of that gods support, it's not good, but the points let's us play around a bit more. How'd your army come out?

Jarad golgari lich lord was my first commander when I started playing 5 years ago and still one of my most played. I really enjoy the mill/ recursion style and jarad activated ability can catch people by surprise if they aren't paying attention
