I guess America being so big many never leave to “holiday” because they just go to another state.

I did 6 years at school of geography because I loved it so much. But I do know there are a large portion of older Americans who’ve never left America. I mean you learn a lot form travelling, but yeah the bulk of it is from School.

Definitely more likely. I learnt geography at school, not by going on holiday😂
