I dreamed that I live in a cottage by the sea.   The walls were small, but I survived by making the beach my home. Years ago, shortly after graduating from college, I packed up everything I owned and drove across the country from Boston to San Diego.   I had no job, few friends and less plans.   However, I somehow made my way and had countless amazing experiences in the process!   I lived there by the beach for exactly one year and it was one of the most productive and historic years of my life.   However, I didn't have a fancy camera at the time, so my memories are fading, becoming more abstract and dreamy with each passing year... I've been back many times during my time living in Southern California.   I've explored the natural and man-made beauty all over the state and luckily captured bits and pieces of it with each trip.  *California Dreaming* is a collection of images I've compiled that convey my dreamy memories of my first year living there, as well as my subsequent visits since then.
