While decentralized protocols like farcaster exist for off-chain messaging, I feel its important for there to exist a messaging protocol where anybody, and any app, can send a message onchain, where that message will be stored onchain _forever_ Thus Net (aka WillieNet) was born

On the surface, Net is a global decentralized censorship-resistant onchain chat, but that is just the tip of the iceberg Net's true potential is unlocked via its support for onchain apps: NFT-gated chats, message inscriptions, cross-chain messaging, event feeds, and more. All fully onchain, all possible with Net
