Motivation is a memecoin-nft where whoever mints the most Motivation NFTs will get 50% of $MOTIVATION memecoin trading fees

The game theory of Motivation is interesting

A strategy optimizing to win at minimal cost may be to mint the most NFTs and then immediately sell the memecoin after minting, given memecoin holdings don't matter for getting trading fees

But there's a catch 👇

When somebody mints a Motivation NFT, it gets them both the NFT + 0.00045 ETH worth of $MOTIVATION memecoin

So somebody else minting more NFTs than you implies further adding more trading fees to the pool, which can further increase the expected value of minting the most NFTs

This is a simplified analysis + considers just 1 potential path

Theory and practice can be different, and we haven't seen this play out so far

In any case, this has been an interesting experiment and I'm curious to see if this dynamic occurs before mint ends tmrw evening

Selling the memecoin can increase the overall trading fees which can in turn imply that the overall fee pool is worth enough for somebody else to come in and mint the most NFTs

This is where things can create a cycle
