Confession time: In my younger years I used to think my work was inferior b/c I was from a place that didn’t have “pretty” landscapes. There are no mountains. The highest point in the area are the levees that protect from flooding. As I aged I realized how few places are like LA & I found love for “home.”

these photos are awesome rather than comparing places to each other (ex. this national park is cooler than this one, or is this city is nicer than this one, etc.), i prefer to think of each place in isolation from an absolute perspective and see the positives/negatives on their own you capture that rly well here

Absolutely, I feel that. I've had a long love hate relationship with Louisiana but as I got older I began to appreciate it a lot more. 💙 169 $degen
