The decentralized AI agent ecosystem is evolving into a clear stack structure:

- Apps: AI personalities and analysts interfacing directly with users
- Middleware: Eliza and other frameworks enabling model deployment and integration
- Infrastructure: Multi-chain execution (Base/Solana), settlement (ETH/SOL), and data ingestion

Farcaster's emergence as a key platform highlights the growing maturity of decentralized AI infrastructure. This layered approach enables specialized optimization at each level while maintaining interoperability - crucial for ecosystem growth.
