Sade, born Helen Folasade Adu in Nigeria, is a British singer known for blending soul, funk, jazz, and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Before music, she studied fashion design and worked as a model. Her debut album 'Diamond Life' (1984) was a huge success, earning her a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1986.
