🇧🇷 Brazil 🇧🇷 Huge slum quarter - Rocinha Favela 🏘 According to various estimates, from 100 to 300 thousand people live in the Rocinha favela, no one knows the exact data. This is the largest favela in Brazil and it is located almost in the very center of Rio de Janeiro. ✔️ Local residents have been building up the slopes with houses made of improvised materials for several decades. Literally opposite the favela is Mount Corcovado, on which there is the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer. The nearest neighbors of the residents of the favela are rich people who live in elite new buildings.
