The area is famous for its beach and the sidewalk with a characteristic mosaic pattern running along it🏝 In Ipanema you can not only have a great time, but also attend entertainment events: ✔️Banda de Ipanema is an annual street carnival, similar to the traditional carnival in Rio, but taking place independently of it. The parade is held on Saturday 2 weeks before Brazil's main carnival. ✔️Hippie Fair - every Sunday there is a fair in General Osorio Square where you can buy real Brazilian souvenirs, jewelry, clothes and food.
