Yah I’m not ever gonna store anything important on paper after experiencing a home of mine burn down years ago.. even the stuff the fire didn’t directly take was completely ruined by water damage & fire fighters putting the fire out..

Yes, it is certainly advisable to have it in two different physical locations, and to leave it in a format that is not obvious that they are passwords.
