🏃🏁Yesterday ran a 5k time trial with my crew, the Berlin Braves.

Was a lot of fun but the weather turned rainy and windy.

My time was 20:15 with an avg. pace of 4:15 min/km. Let's see if I can improve in the future. I normally don't race this distance.

Ran in the second heat and was leading it up until the last 2 laps, where a friend overtook me and stayed in front of me until the finish line.

Or ... well so we thought. Turns out we both missed a lap and the organizers had miscounted. So we averaged our pace to get the full 5k time.

As a punishment for this mishap I ran back home ~7k in the cold. Serves me right!

So satisfying doing these events with the Braves. We all push each other to improve while we collectively have fun and enjoy ourselves.
