I tried the Apple Vision Pro last night. And I have thoughts.

💅The device is super comfortable and honestly an incredible piece of hardware. No shocker there

🎞️ Spatial video is incredible. This is going to be a game changer for the world - but will be slow to roll out. 

3D videos will be here very quick. The teaser of Mario Bros in 3D makes me think that animated videos will be quick to adopt.

🙈 the experience is very isolating. This device disconnects you from the world. And I can’t yet imagine using the device around others. My husband and I wouldn’t both pop headsets on to watch a movie.

✏️ the interface actually seems way more oriented to work than I expected. I wonder if slack or GitHub will develop custom experiences to leverage the new capability

🍆 this has a lot of implications for the adult content industry. What will Apple allow? When?

🤮By the end of the demo I felt a bit queasy. This normally happens to me with 3D / VR.

Overall. I’m excited by the future of what this will bring. 

Go do a demo. It’s so hard to understand the vision pro without trying it.

💊 the immersive nature of the Vision Pro lends itself to some interesting /therapy experiences. I can’t wait for psychedelic therapists to test new forms of immersion therapy. 

Also curious if this will enable EMDR
