Man crypto has really trained me to not trust any links and to triple check everything.

Basic sites like Uniswap, OpenSea, Metamask I find myself checking if it's the real thing so many times despite the fact I've used the links hundreds of times before.

Anyone else this paranoid or just me?

It's a very good reflex to have especially when trying to use new things you just discovered. I mostly try to check their official socials and see if they have link(trees). Most wallets have had a pretty nice upgrade in security when doing tx's so that's nice as well.
