According to a tweet from Ethereum Foundation staff member hww.eth, the Ethereum Foundation has created a new multisig wallet and transferred 50,000 ETH to it. The foundation intends to use this wallet for participation in the DeFi ecosystem and has already performed a test transaction on Aave. Additional funds will be transferred to the wallet progressively over time.
