Book a hotel room on Farcaster?

We’ve finally built it! I remember chatting with @dwr.eth about this back in February. We planned to launch this feature on Farcaster Frames way back then. But we had to make some changes to our backend, causinga ton of a delay.

But here we are! Users can now book a hotel directly on the Base Chain. They’ll also receive an NFT that represents their booking, and they can even resell or trade this NFT just like any other NFT. Our goal is to tokenize dynamicAssets (Assets with an expiration date) & bring them to web3 ecosystem. In the long run, this solve liquidity issues in the underlying industry & reduces the cost of distribution (currently over 30% for the hotel industry).

Here’s what you can do today and what’s coming up:

1. Book a hotel on BASE chain at GetBoken.com
2. Mint an NFT that proves you own the booking
3. List that NFT up for resale (coming soon on OpenSea/Rarible)
4. Resell your booking for sale via Farcaster /Frames (coming by this weekend)
