Today, I'm listening to Bob Dylan for the first time.

Starting from the oldest album first, and working my way through chronological order

Bob Dylan’s “Chronicles” hit me hard with how it’s obvious in his writing about his youth he only cared universal truths across history, but his later year notes had many more contemporary news reports.

His songwriting proficiency arguably inversely tracked this attention shift and he didn’t seem to notice.

just curious, have you done this with other musicians and enjoyed it? Dylan is kinda notorious for peaking early, and continuing for a looooong time.
