I am wondering if engagement is down across the board or if it is just me and the people I follow I am also wondering if this is one of those genie wishes / monkey paw things where we complained about spammy bots and they got cleaned up and now we are in a dopamine fasting phase 😂

Both🤷🏻♂️The drafted cast I lost switching apps to get that screenshot (fml) had a few possibilities: Summer market slump Algo in training mode Degen tipping throttled Stubborn BDFL dismissive of rev chron fans All contributing factors I’d imagine. All fixable except that last part. 😆

$DEGEN is the beating heart and soul of Farcaster's growth, and the clearest hope for its future. (Frames was ancillary, like lighter fluid.) OGs really did see 6 figures dropped in their wallets at some time, yet 90%+ have abandoned the project. Including choosing to flirt with copycats, rather than call out and deal with problems. The baby fledgling communities formed around $DEGEN, don't have solid roots yet. I really feel some kind of way about how most "bear market builders" handled their bags. When $DEGEN price returns, it probably won't be celebrated on Warpcast.

The way you put that is quite nice ie frames as the accelerant. It also wonder how much qDAU has moved to DCs & GCs. The POIDH OG group is more engaging than my home feed. (kinda sorta). I’m genuinely excited for the Ⓜ️oxie experiments. Imagine if it or a derivative of it works.
