Fun weekend data dive, triggered by @proxystudio.eth. Data and details are on Github, incl. links to data sources and instructions on how to recreate. https://warpcast.com/artlu/0x7f4dd5cf My conclusions: - one handful of humans with FID > 200k are at Proxy's level of engagement, as measured by OpenRank - Proxy is at least [X]% a project account, and reasonable ppl can compare their engagement with successful 2024-vintage accounts incl. drakula, paybot - follower count shows emergent 2024-vintage accounts at the 5k, 10k, 15k range. Continue to shout out notable examples in the original thread, and here! Inasmuch as OpenRank uses an initial population to seed its weightings, the metric shows that the seed population has not significantly engaged with newer human accounts, although it has chosen to engage with certain newer brand accounts

My analysis suggests a barbell approach to growing a new account's influence: - Launch a new project. Preferably a unique project that takes hard work to replicate, and one that can readily partner with projects from already highly influential founders - Engage on a personal, authentic level with other accounts of similar vintage. The earlier vintage has not shown that it can (in aggregate, over the past 6 months) embrace a single new purely human account

and one more successful strategy emerges from the data, which is not open to everyone: - bring your own audience to bootstrap your FC audience

Yes to this! I went from sub 100 to 1000 in a week, by just following and then replying to every PFP I recognized from Twitter.
