honestly the funniest version of all this badge stuff is if they literally do nothing and Dan is just trying to socially nudge people towards good behavior

What if I always behaved well?) There is a nuance: no one sees your posts in channels, but to earn a new badge, you need active users make reactions, a vicious circle😅

the virtuous cycle: small active users want to grow, they respond to new users, new users interact with them, the pie grows and more badges appear as long as it's genuine

I would agree, if not for one thing, without interacting with active badges, you won’t get yours, so there will remain 2 pools - newbies and legends
